Power and Domination (Series 1)

Power can be used to serve a people or to blind its wielder. The first series, represented by the metaphor of the chair, here an attribute of Power, examines the problem of blindness stemming from a feeling of omnipotence, through blurred, inescapable windows. We perceive powers, like puppets, suspended and in a precarious position; criminal rivalries; sacrificed humans, condemned to exile and exclusion, living the tragedy of borders; and endless wars. The final image depicts our world, divided in two: we discover totalitarian powers that destroy, and others that, under the guise of democracy, create a sterile void that is simply another form of destruction.
