Animals in the Dark
It is a critique of the various forms of violence in our societies and in the world. The photographs highlight its dangerous resurgence, leading to the regression of individuals - hence the creation of knots, tangled balls of knots that suffocate human life. Closed or lying scissors symbolize forced resistance (of men or women) in silence, while open scissors (open mouths), shouting in the light (yellow threads), represent a more assertive protest. The resisters cut the red threads that connect, multiply, and reinforce the violence. The presence of bright yellow threads that connect, multiply, and reinforce the violence. The presence of bright yellow threads among the standing figures expresses the desire for liberation from the shackles of this brutality. The final photograph schematically represents the victory of human resistance under not one sun, but several.
